Stuart Kimball is a Business Broker with Radekopf and Associates in Mt Pleasant.

In that role, not only does he advise and help people buy and sell successful businesses, but also provides brokers opinions of business value and organizes marketing campaigns.

Mr. Kimball is able to draw on an extensive previous career in the financial services industry. In 1980, he was the first person hired as a stockbroker in South Carolina by the firm then known as Dean Witter Reynolds , now Morgan Stanley. Moving to Charleston in 1983 to open the local Dean Witter branch, he continued on a successful financial advisory practice which he concluded in 2006 with UBS.

During those years Stu met with and advised many thousands of investors and small business owners. Additionally, he also presented hundreds of informative investment seminars and workshops throughout the region. For many years, he also taught non-credit investment courses at both the University of South Carolina and The College of Charleston.

In this presentation to MPBPA, Mr. Kimball will discuss a variety of key steps any business owner needs to successfully have in place in order to maximize the value of the inevitable and eventual sale of their business.
