Paul Thomas has about 31 years of service with the SBA. There, he has spent 20 years in the financing division, four years in liquidations, four years in the servicing division and three years as the Sr. Area Manager of nine counties in South Carolina.
Paul also serves as the veteran affairs officer for his agency in South Carolina and gets to cover the entire state on behalf of veterans.
Prior to joining SBA, Paul spent four years working for various CPA firms in and around Atlanta, Georgia. He has 10 years experience with two Fortune 500 retail companies and prior to that was on active duty with the military.
Paul has a degree in Business from Clayton College and a degree in Accounting from Georgia State University. He is retired from the Air Force reserve.
The program he will presenting for SBA is an overview of the programs and services that are available to small businesses through the SBA. There is a lot of misinformation about what SBA does and this will provide insight as to how they try to assist small businesses. |
